Account Executive
Full-Time, New York City Area & Remote
BuildBuddy was founded to make developers more productive. Today we're solving a small piece of this problem with an open-core remote build execution platform for Bazel - but our ambitions are much larger. Our mission is to take the world class engineering tools that are only available to employees of large companies and make them available to everyone.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how engineers build and test software. You’ll be working directly with engineering organizations developing the most cutting-edge tech.
You will
- Focus on acquiring new customers
- Own the entire book of business for small to midsize customers worldwide
- Manage the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiation
- Drive top of funnel activity (we do not have dedicated SDRs)
- Become proficient in BuildBuddy and learn about Bazel
We're looking for someone who
- Can learn, understand, and explain complex technical concepts
- Is comfortable selling to engineers
- Is excited to generate leads and close new business
- Thrives in an environment without a lot of existing processes
- Has at least two years of sales or sales engineering experience
